COMPONENT 1 

Adaptation of the Armenian legislation to the EU legislation relating to Asylum and Migration



​

Analysis of the legal framework governing migration and asylum in Armenia will identify areas where Armenian law needs amendments in order to ensure coherency with the EU acquis. It will be followed by a report with recommendations and be discussed during a workshop for policy stakeholders. Advisory support will also be provided in drafting new laws and amendments and in their adaptation in the national legislation.

COMPONENT 2 ​

Strengthening cooperation among Armenian authorities involved in migration issues and enhancement of their efficiency



This component is aimed at bringing the institutions involved in migration and asylum issues in Armenia into one platform and through introduction of appropriate instruments to improve the migration management system with focus on coordination and cooperation models within the EU perspective. 





COMPONENT 3​

Development of a complete migration data processing and communications system



This component involves review and identification of all existing sources of information that is of interest for the development of the Armenian migration strategy and the accessibility of this information. The findings from review will outline an indicative plan for establishment of the data processing and communications system.
